I had an appointment as a new patient with them for 10am on Wednesday 18th April but I couldn't make it because my bus didn't turn up, so I rang them as soon as I could to let them know that I couldn't make it for them to offer me a new appointment. Then 15 minutes later they ring me back saying they couldn't offer me that appointment because it was too late notice and it is against their "policy" to offer an appointment for someone who misses their first patient appointment. I spoke to the supervisor and tried to explain that the bus was the only way I could get there and they are only one every hour (the bus was due at 9:35 and I got to the bus stop at 9:25 and it only takes 10/15 minutes to get to Firth Park ) so if that doesn't turn up there is no other way I could get there on time and the supervisor said to me that it is their policy to not offer another appointment if I could have made it there on time and that I could have either got a taxi or walked it there within 15 minutes when I live about a 35/40 minute walk away and I couldn't afford a taxi and my parents couldn't take me because they were busy, she made me feel so little when I said I couldn't afford a taxi. I was near enough begging her to see if they could arrange another appointment because I really need dental care and I couldn't make it due to no fault of my own but she yet again said they couldn't because of their policy. I have found my letter with my appointment on and it says nothing about this "policy" of theirs, it just says "please contact us as soon as possible if you can not make your appointment, which I did do. I honestly don't understand why they couldn't offer me another appointment when the circumstances were not my fault when I exhausted all of my options. I am really upset and frustrated about this whole situation. |

All the staff here are amazing, well the ones who i have seen i. dental technicians and the receptionists are amazing.
Words can’t describe how grateful I am with all of them when having treatment I’ve never felt so calm and confident in my life at any dentist as I do there, I mean that in a good way as well.
I think, well I know that the Firth Park Dental Clinic is the best dental clinic in Sheffield without a doubt
I would highly recommend this dental practice, its an amazing environment and always feel welcome and can have a chat with all the staff especially the ones i see and have seen and you can have a laugh with them, they always smiling and have great services. But all staff have a smile on their face
I first visited the dental clinic in May 2016 and still attend there.
5 star rating for the staff and 5 star rating for the dental clinic. The staff and the clinic itself should be highly rewarded and recognized.
