2021 towards the end of July phoned to say that I had an issue a swollen gum,needed it looked at and a course of antibiotics if needed. They said that because I hadn't attended for quite a while then I would have to wait until October earliest. A week later on my holidays in Scarborough, suffered unbelievable pain. Got a cancellation spot at a Private dentist in Scarborough and was put on antibiotics before removing the tooth a week later in August. Fastforward to June this year 2023 again I had a swollen gum, knew how difficult it was to get an appointment at Broxtowe Lane Dental practice, but had a up and coming appointment on 15th of June. Telephoned the practice to tell them of my concern with receding gums and pain under my tooth, again was told that my 15th June appointment was check-up only and to rub Cordysol gel on to the affected area. Following day was struck down with a shivering fever, swollen lip and tongue, phoned a Private dentist who saw me straight away,they took the tooth away which had an hole right through it and put on antibiotics. I was then sent to hospital with a fear of septis setting in. Fortunately blood test's proved otherwise but the infection had affected me profoundly.

I've been trying to get an appointment since June 2020 but things were closed due to covid going around went In 2021 to make an appointment to see a dentist' in November didn't have anything to be told so I made an appointment for 4 Jan and then I get a txt today saying they have cancelled my appointment I'm fed up with Broxtowe dentist it's gone down hill since mark Wilkinson left just close this dentist down they clearly don't know what they are doing

I was booked in for a checkup and on arrival the reception team clearly have no people skills. I went in for my checkup and literally I was in that chair for 5 seconds. I feel this dentist was not qualified, when I sat down on the chair she blinded me with the light twice and all she said was you want us to replace that missing tooth. If only it was that easy to find another dentist who are taking new patient on.
