After attending this surgery for a number of years, I had to have emergency treatment elsewhere. It was only then did I realise how bad and incompetent this Dentist actually is. In all the years I have been a patient I have never had an xray taken - I understand now that this should be done routinely every 2 years for a screening process. I have never had my treatment discussed with me or any options given. Basically it has been like it or lump it. The Surgery itself although in an old building is very tired, dirty and the decoration is poor. Not sure about hygiene practices either as I believe there should be a designated sterilisation room and I don't think this is the case here? The staff and more often than not its one person running between reception desk and surgery treating patients are friendly however The dentist them self is rude, obnoxious, heavy handed and the way they talk to their dental nurse could be seen as bullying. The Surgery door is always left open and so everyone in reception can hear what treatment is happening. Its only when you see how other Dentists treat their NHS patients and how nice their Surgeries are do you realise how bad this one is. The Dentist them self should look at retiring if they are unwilling to embrace new protocols and procedures which help to keep patients safe and healthy. I'm sorry I had to write this review and it may seem harsh, however I am very distressed and shocked at both the standard of treatment received here and the appalling conditions of the premises, surgery and equipment. Please NHS look into this and investigate before something drastic happens there.

Worst dentist ever! The dentist accused me of not paying for treatment and aggressively said that if I was not paying they would take me to court. Turns out I already had paid and it was not updated on the system. The manner in which the dentist came accross was disgusting. I have one filling already paid £47. Absolutely the worst dentist do not go here and an abssess formed on top of the filling that they did and wanted to do a root canal. I have a new dentist now and couldnt be happier. I would advise you not to visit this practice.
