I went for my walk in routine check up recently and no work is required. The dentist explained to me the correct method of brushing. I always leave feeling well taken care of. Reply from Pickering Dental Surgeries Mon, 15 Jul 2019 14:08:25 +0100 Thank you for your positive feedback |

Last night I started to feel severe pain on the lower right wisdom tooth that was pushing through and eventually the pain got so unbearable and I was unable to sleep. I have (luckily) never needed to see a dentist, even with previous wisdom teeth pushing through, as I always managed to get by with taking some painkillers. However, this time the pain got to the point that I was crying and my right ear and eye started to be affected by the pain as well. I phoned up 111 that kindly looked up Pickering for me and advised me to phone them at 9, and if I was unable to get an appointment, ring 111 after 6 pm. Once the practice opened, the kind receptionist advised me to come in for a walk-in appointment, and after I filled a form to register, I waited maybe 20 minutes until I was called and was advised I could come back in 45 minutes. I was relieved that I could come back home and rest before heading back to the practice, as it was very busy at this time in the morning. Once I went back, I was called into the waiting room almost immediately. I was seen by the dentist and he made me feel very comfortable and treated me appropriately to my pain. I was prescribed Metronizadole 3 tablets a day for 5 days so I'm hoping the pain will go away soon! Also, such a relief that the tooth didn't need to be pulled out, at least just yet. Will definitely recommend the practice. |

the staff at this practice work incredibly hard. Waiting room always full. Hats off to them. It’s like a hospital environment. Great team. Would def recommend. And remember it’s whiter when you get sent to the dentist upstairs Reply from Pickering Dental Surgeries Tue, 09 Apr 2019 14:53:19 +0100 Thank you for your positive review and yes the waiting rooms upstairs are indeed quieter :) |
