Apr 3 2019 The whole family use this practice and we've had many appointments cancelled for unknown reasons, this is frustrating as other people have mentioned trying to get appointments outside of school time is like getting blood out of a stone. I will say that the dentist herself is a very lovely and knowledgable lady, however, her support staff are disgraceful, they are less than professional and will openly stand around gossiping. My daughter had a recent checkup, we arrived a little early and the staff were chatting, we ended up being called in almost half an hour past her appointment time, no communication from the staff as why there was a delay, they just kept disappearing into offices together to chat. I used to tell everyone how good the practice is, but I now feel I need to look for another dental practice for the family as it's becoming too unreliable and I seem to spend hours there waiting for the appointments that we've waited months for.

Sep 25 2018 I had such a bad experience in the past with a dentist leaving me scared to return to the dentist again. I was recommended this practice by a friend as she had been coming for years and I thought Id take my chances and give it ago. From the moment of walking through the door, I felt a ora of relief. Reception staff gave a good friendly welcome and spoke very polite towards me and reassured me during my wait, asking if i needed water or any air con to be turned on as i looked pale due to fear etc. The dentist was amazing and gave a great friendly, confident and painful experience, the nurses all had smiles on their faces and all of the members of staff made some sort of contact with me whether is be a smile or a hello - again giving me a feeling of relaxation. Deffo recommend this practice, I would give it more star rating if I had the option. Thanks you

They allowed me to see the dentist on the same day. She was very considerate and caring. Offered me a number of solutions and got me in to see her as soon as she could. They were so emphatic with my issue and when I asked for call backs from the practice manager these were always prompt and again caring and sympathetic. I now have a smile whilst awaiting to be healed for the next step towards achieving the smile I have always wanted. Want to thank the brilliant dentist, practice manager and the amazing staff at Sherwood dental practice. A five star service through and through. Highly recommend this surgery.
