Bunch of scammers, needed a root canal and they said they couldn’t do it all they wanted to do was rip it out, left me in pain and charged me 23 pound for nothing.

Started out good, but unfortunately went drastically wrong. They accepted my family as NHS patients then in a matter of months tried pushing us towards becoming private on Denplan. In the end told us it’s either that or nothing. It gets worse... having signed up for pay as we go (not NHS), they cancelled pretty much every appointment on us over a 12 month period. This meant my kids didn’t see a dentist for 12 months while they had teeth falling out and moving. The dentist then left because the whole private/denplan thing didn’t work, so they replaced her. But that dentist left, giving rise to even more cancellations. Rather than apologise and fix the solution, the receptionist had attitude with me and just attempted to make excuses for their shortfalls in service. SHOCKING MEMBER OF STAFF. If they treat their dentists like they do their patients, it’s little wonder they keep leaving. Im currently on a mobile phone but when I get to my PC, I’ll upload all the photos of messages showing the cancellations. Suffice to say we’ve now left this practice.

Been with this dentist since they moved to Preston Road, the service has got worse over the years. During the pandemic I stayed away from the dentist, for obvious reasons, them without even a call or message they terminated my care. When I rang for a check up, was told I was no longer a patient of theirs and I had to look elsewhere for a dentist. In my home town of Chorley I think I'm right in saying no dentist is taking on new NHS patients, so where do you get dental care from when you're out of work but entitled to free dental treatment, thanks to The Oaks (Preston Road) I now have rotten teeth, tooth ache and a filling that has dropped out, need to change its name to The fallen Oaks, much more fitting ??
