May 11 2019 What a breath of fresh air! Not sure whether to change dentists or not I saw you could book an appointment without risking your current one so thought I'd try them for a hygienist appointment. Speaking to reception she was very warm and the booking process was so simple, plus she made it clear there was parking right outside for 2 hours for free (so I popped to the excellent butchers over the road after!) I arrived 5 mins early, filled out the standard form, and as if by clockwork, another friendly welcome by the hygienist and her aid and in I went. These are obviously well trained competent staff as everything that was just about to be done was told to me so I was completely at ease. On top of that, there were a couple of recommendations for aftercare which all made sense. Rebooked for another 6 months, notice going in and a very happy customer. Over the years I've been to enough dentists to recognise I'd been making do with the mediocre service and that's about to change.

Apr 25 2017 Having had an extremely long (20 year) and trusted relationship with this practice, I have been very disappointed by the handling and outcomes of the "merger" with Grants so far. Having been told that the merger would not affect care and discouraged from looking elsewhere I have now been told that the dentist can no longer treat under 18s and are unable to take appointments for them even in emergencies. However, while I was in the reception area a family left and were told they would have to make the next appointment in July as that was when the only dentist allowed to treat children with NHS certification was next available. The prices are significantly higher also and I am actively seeking another dentist for the entire family, given I have to find one for the children anyway.

By: Lee Wilson Rating:.. Jul 6 2023 I am a very nervous patient and saw Amy for my New patient Exam and Lynne for my Hygienist appointment. They were friendly and efficient and put me at ease straight away. I don't know why I have put coming off to the dentist for so long. Thank you!
