In March unfortunately I needed to have a molar tooth extracted. The care I was given was excellent and it made a really stressful, unpleasant experience almost pleasant. My dentist gave me adequate analgesia and waited for it to work. He gently talked me through the procedure, for example, how each stage would feel, even to the taste of medication. Afterwards, both my dentist and the dental nurse kept me in the dental chair for at least ten minutes chatting and distracting me. When my dentist was satisfied there was no further bleeding and I felt ok, only then did he allow me to go. Like many dentists he is kept very busy, and I am an NHS patient, but I never feel rushed when sitting in the dentist chair. Over the years my dentist has gained my trust and respect. He, for example, referred my children, Jonathan and Jennifer, at the right time for their braces and has always shown interest and kindness to us all as individuals. We could not have asked for a better dentist. |

I always feel I get the best possible care from this dentist; in an era when the NHS is stretched to bursting, his appointments never feel rushed and he always puts you at ease by taking the time to explain everything in plain English and offering excellent advice. He is calm, kind and extremely knowledgeable - I feel lucky to have him as my dentist. |

Our family have been using this practice for over 25 years. I cannot recommend our dentist highly enough as a very experienced, caring and considerate dentist. The advice and treatment I have received has always been spot on. I have always been very nervous of going to the dentist from bad childhood memories gradually over the years my experience has got less and less traumatic. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who had similar anxieties. |
