This practice was advertised as accepting new NHS patients on line, I called up and the receptionist was very rude, stating that the website was wrong and they were not accepting new patients. After questioning me on my previous dentist visits,and the current health of my teeth she finally said she would put me on a list as there was nothing they could do to help and proceeded to give me a number for the NHS dental care.Not helpful and not friendlyf or someone just wanting a dentist!

I called this practice because the NHS website showed they were accepting new patients, apparently this is not the case, the receptionist was rude and intrusive and informed me that they couldn't help me and if I experienced tooth ache to call the NHS helpline. When I explained they were showing as accepting new patients she said this was wrong and that the best she could do was put me on a waiting list. Not helpful.

I attended an appointment in May 2018 and was told I had a loose filling which was unlikely to come out. I was advised I needed 12 monthly follow ups. My filling came this month (March 2019)out causing pain. I rang the practice to book an appointment to have the filling replaced. I was told that despite being in pain, due to my attendance record they would not see me. I have never failed to attend a booked appointment. I was told I should ring 111. I did this and was told that because I was registered with a dental practice I was not able to have care through them. They could not provide any other options other than going back to the practice which had refused to see me. This left me without care. I have now found a practice that can see me in 2 weeks time and has considerately offered to call me if they have any cancellations. It is a shame that the staff of Moor dental care don't have the same empathy for their clients in pain and don't seem to understand what options are available for people looking for care and give poor referral advice.
