The dentist is great and I've been happy with centre overall at all my visits. The practice is good but the I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the reception staff. That's why only 1 star!
1. on my first appointment they booked me as complexly different patient who have completely different problem.
2. On completion of my first appointment they gave me follow up appointment. The appointment time was 1.50pm. I called on a day of appointment to confirm the appointment time as they never send a text. Reception staff told me my appointment booked at 12.50pm not 1.50pm. I left my important meeting to see dentist. when I reached there reception staff told me oh! you are 1 hour early your appointment booked at 1.50pm. Ridicules what a miss communication!
3. The dentist told me to gave a call to reception staff and informed her to send referral letters to endodontic clinic for root canal and oral hospital for wisdom tooth removal. I called at reception and informed her to tell dentist to send both referral. The reception staff asked asked me why you need tooth removal , who told you to remove your tooth and all sort of question. She straight away said you need to see dentist for this and book appointment with dentist. The dentist charged me just to tell her to send referral letters (no treatment require from dentist) because of miss communication done by reception.
To be honest it's completely waste of my and dentist time and I have to pay just to tell dentist to send referral letters due to reception staff mistake. Very poor. Very disappointed. I have had very bad toothache for 4 days which has been hell. I rang to see if I could get a emergency appointment and they fitted me in within 2 hours which was amazing I was straight in with my dentist who identified the problem straight away gave me the options of which I decided on removal but would struggle to sort out that day as she was fully booked. My distress was obvious and she asked another dentist to help and he agreed within another couple of hours I now sit here pain free on the same day I will be for ever grateful for the help as I was at my wits end Thank you all you were fantastic.
