Dr Lartey is the best dentist I have ever known. Meticulous and highly experienced, the skill and care she takes in everything she does is exceptional - from advising on the most important decisions, right down to the smallest detail. Over the past 12 months, she has gradually sorted out all my molars with a full set of eight perfect gold crowns and two root canals. It's a complete transformation that I know will last for decades. The whole process has been completely pain-free, and her charges were all very reasonable (and far less than I was quoted elsewhere). All the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful too, especially Samantha on reception. I don't hesitate to recommend Dentology to friends. Already two of them have likewise had excellent treatment. No doubt more will follow. |

This surgery is good at general dentistry such as wisdom removal and cleaning, however I had the worst experience when it came to cosmetic treatments. I already was relatively happy with my teeth, of which I whitened (picture 1) prior to receiving composite bonding from Dr Lartey and thus followed a year of Austin Powers looking teeth (picture 3), that were very thick, required constant fixtures, caused several gum infections due to ledges and ridges of bonding (antibiotics required *2, irrigating daily). 8 appointments later, the bonding was still not completed correctly and although gum infections had been communicated, customer service/management team still took just under a year to provide a refund. Two external dentists and a composite bonding professional all stated that gum infections were due to the quality of bonding. Removal had to be done elsewhere of which the surgery paid for providing I signed a liability agreement prior. When the composite bonding was removed, the situation worsened - within the corrective treatments, Dr Lartey had amended my actual teeth without permission creating a diastema effect (picture 2), destroying enamel and shaving 1-2mm off both front teeth. Basically I went to this dentist and came out worse off and in need of expensive corrective treatments. |

I would follow this dentist any where. I’m an extremely nervous patient & have been frightened of the dentist since a terrible experience as a child. I have only been going to the dentist when the pain is unbearable. However since meeting & having this dentist as my dentist I’ve been able to overcome my fears & have had the treatment I’ve needed without fear & pain leading to me brining able to hang on to the natural teeth that I have. I would & have recommended her already to people who are prepared to travel to become a patient of hers. I really appreciate the time she has taken with me to allay my fears & the treatment I’ve received has been utmost professional Much appreciated Denise Greenhalgh |
