I have tried joining the Smile centre on the NHS, so i emailed the reception address asking for joining instructions, with no response, so a week later i resent my request, but still had no response from the smile centre team. I emailed a 3rd week in a row politely asking for information and joining instructions and was again ignored. My wife then sent in a request stating she wanted to join the practice, Smile centre assumed she meant as a private medical basis and they have been chasing her constantly.
Its seems that they only have time to respond to private payers. Extremely disappointed with their customer service as I if they didn’t have any free NHS spaces, all they needed to do was respond and ex[plain that fact, not blatantly ignore people. |

I have recently undergone having two dental implants and I am very pleased with the results.
The whole experience for me has been pain free and the end result is amazing.
The reason I decided to go for implants was not for vanity but for practicality, I was not keen on the other two option offered to me (a bridge or denture).
The dentist was excellent and made the whole experience pleasant and reassuring.
Right from the word go the dentist explained the options, the procedure and what to expect, I felt very at ease all the way through.
For me I can honestly say I did not experience any pain all the way through the whole procedure.
It started with a consultation then a CT scan of my mouth which produced a 3D x-ray image of my bone structure within my mouth this enable the dentist to work out what would be the best position and implants for the area concerned, in my case two implants next to each other to the rear of my lower jaw.
Then the day to have the implants placed came and within no time they were in place, 6 weeks later I had the impressions taken which took about 20 minutes then one week later after a 20 minute appointment my new teeth were in and after about an hour it felt like they had always been there.
The whole experience from the consultation through to new teeth being fitted took 3 months and well worth it.
I’m very pleased with the results and would defiantly recommend the dentist and The Smile Centre to anyone considering having implants. |
