Thornton Hall & Lodge

my family has been looking at this care home for our mother who is 88 years of age as she spent 10 days here in july 2018 with no problems but this latest experience is truly awful we had approached thornton hall in december 2018 regarding my mum becoming a resident all was in place for her arrival but the management kept making appointments with the doctors and nurses at aintree hospital where my mum still is but on FOUR occasions they did not bother to turn up no phone call or apology at all they have wasted nearly three weeks as my mum has been turned down as a resident and we are know having to start from scratch again with my mum who is not ill but elderley and frail but has spent the last 4 weeks in aintree hospital taking up a very valuable bed when it is not nessesary i just wish they would realise how distressing and upsetting there actions are to mess with families lives and not even bother to apologies when they didnt bother to turn up and waste the doctors and nurses valuble time with no care or thought from there actions shame on the management of thornton hall
