A good meeting with the social worker, all points covered well and staff were informed and helpful.

When I arrived to pick up my daughter and was greeted by smiling staff and told E was upstairs getting ready. As I was early I expected this. I popped up and E had 2 careers with her laughing and chatting with her while they freshened her up and thoughtfully changed her into a different outfit ready for her day out in the sunshine. The carers were welcoming to me coming into the room and we chatted altogether. Downstairs I met a new male carer. He introduced himself and said how he had asked to work sometime with E. He said lovely things about her and what a wonderful character she was. Heâ??d taken her for a walk earlier and enjoyed how she chuckled and smiled. Itâ??s lovely that the staff â??getâ?? E. After 4 years now she is very settled. The staff seem to be stable now as there previously was a huge turn around but there are regular faces which is reassuring for Es consistent care. When E returned after our day out, she was greeted with cheery carers and her house mates. She was clearly shattered and her key worker recognised this and was preparing E for her bedrest as I left.

My son has been there since it opened. Great staff, very well run and most importantly hes happy.
