Aug 18 2015 We were given a placement believing all my sons social and health needs could be met, but when it came to arrange a transfer date it came to light there is a major problem with consultant psychiatric,ADHD and mental health handover teams in that area.literally they don't exist! And have no intention of setting up this service. We are now in limbo, my son being autistic is having severe meltdowns as he doesn't understand why. And as parent we are so angry and frustrated as it was asked at several visits and on a drawn up care plan by social sevices how complex his medical needs were and if these could be met.we feel cheated and lied to.
