Dec 17 2017 My sister in law has been in this care home for approximately 26 months. At first the care home was definitely unsatisfactory. However this is certainly not the case now.All of the staff from the manager down cares very much for the residents.I have witnessed care that is beyond my expectations. We visit the home regularly but not on a regular day and time. I was thrilled to hear the nurse not only singing to my sister in law but also massaging her feet while they sang to her. She loves the music of the fifties and the nurse was singing some of her favourite ones. The nurse was not aware that we had entered and it was so lovely to see this level of kindness. My sister in aw is unable to tolerate solid food,The chef carefully and lovingly prepares her pureed food for her. They go the extra mile and prepares it to look like all the other diners, The effort is wonderful. This care home never smells the rooms are beautifully clean and the staff all work together to create a holistic attitude. This is all for the residents benefit.
