Completed property check in list and they lost so much including my father's DVD player and other really personal belongings that they let a family member remove without my father's consent. When my father was admitted to hospital, the manager refused his return as they were unable to organise the supervision of difficult family visits and maintain my father's safety in the placement to minimise psychological abuse which resulted in his admission to a psychiatric hospital. Then the management completely avoided a safeguarding investigation to protect my father and his belongings followed by blatantly lying to an independent Social Worker but obviously didn't realise that I am taking the matter to court whereby I hope that they realise they cannot lie. Never put my father's best interests first but there were a handful of decent care assistants on Rose unit. The RGNs that I met didn't have a clue and my father complained about one of them causing him to choke during poor management of his medications which I believe. Don't send your loved ones here. |

The Care Commissions words are more useful than my own, as they make it clear the things that need to change.
