1 & 2 Hedgerows

1 & 2 The Hedgerows is a residential service that provides respite care (short stays) to adults with a learning disability. People& stay at the service for one or two nights or up to two weeks at a time. The service is located in the village of Staplehurst near to local shops, the train station and a bus route. All bedrooms are single and our bathrooms have all been refurbished recently to enable choice regarding bath/shower/sitting or standing. & There is one ground floor bedroom for people that have difficulty managing stairs, but the property does not easily accommodate those that use a wheelchair.& & We use care management assessments and an induction period to complete& personalised support plans which inform us to the specific needs of the individual. We actively encourage involvement from the individual and family to ensure we offer& the service required. Individuals participate in service user metings& and complete feedback forms at the end of each stay, this ensures we address any issues that may arise& promptly.
