Buttercup House Care Home

My Mother's last months (February to July 2016) were at Buttercup House. Buttercup House isn't just a Care Home it was her home, and what a home it was. The Owners, Management, and Staff are extraordinary people. Every resident is given the same love and affection. The home is always immaculate; morning evening and night (24, 7, 365 days a year). No matter what happens the staff are not phased and are always welcoming. The home's menu caters for all and the food is impressive. If you want your loved ones to spend their last days happy then this is the place for them.

Staff came in on their day off to care for my grandmother in her last days, and we were constantly overwhelmed by the levels of care and attention they gave to her, as well as the support they gave us, both practical and emotional, throughout this difficult time. My grandmother was at first reluctant to go into a care home, but after a while she literally never wanted to leave, she was very happy, had made real friends and felt secure and looked after. Elderly care is something that isn't prioritised in our society but seeing the wonderful things that staff here did every day was amazing. It's also been great seeing improvements and refurbishments to the house over the last few months and I'm sure it will continue becoming more and more a wonderful place to live.

My wife has been a resident here for 6 years and in that time neither myself or my wife have had any cause to complain about anything. The staff are more than friendly and welcoming and there is always a cup of tea for me on my arrival. The home and my wife's room is always clean. My wife has been bed ridden for many years and she receives excellent care and attention. She is treated with great care and her dignity is respected. My family are also very happy with the care their mother receives and believes this is why she is still with us.
