Yew Trees Care Centre offers dedicated staff, home cooking and tasteful accommodation. The home is located in its own grounds and has a private lawned garden and patio to enjoy in summer. This specialist dementia care home offers tailored and individual services to people with a dementia related condition.

Using the award winning HARMONY dementia programme, Yew Trees is one of only two care centres in Tameside to offer this superb caring approach. HARMONY results in a better quality of life and improved enjoyment of daily activities. It also means that many residents sleep better, have improved appetite and they have seen reductions in medications used.

This purpose built property provides accommodation in single rooms, some of which have en-suite facilities. All rooms have TV and nurse call systems. Communal areas include several lounges and dining areas, quiet rooms and a reception area. The upper floor of the home can be accessed via passenger lift and the home also provides a &relaxation therapy room& and hairdressing salon.

A varied and nutritional menu is offered and special diets can be catered for.

Social and recreational activities are offered as well as trips to the coast and shopping expeditions.
