Walton House Nursing Home

Walton House Nursing Home, part of Walton Care Group is a privately run Gold Standard Nursing and Care home based in Walton Le Dale, Preston. Walton House prides itself on offering a friendly care environment whilst practising a high standard of care. The surroundings are light, spacious and extremely comfortable with an emphasis on friendliness and efficiency.

Walton House is a registered care home and is fully compliant with the requirements of the CQC (Care Quality Commission). We are assessed bi-annually by RDB Star Rating and at our last assessment were rated 5 Star. Also, we are one of the few homes in Lancashire to have achieved the award of Gold Standards Framework for end of life care.

Manager Paul Semans, a registered General Nurse is responsible for the day to day running of the home. The quality of life for our service users is of the utmost importance to Paul& and his team.

Walton House caters for up to 41 residents with a variety of physical and mental support needs with qualified staff who are on hand 24 hours a day. The home offers care at all levels from nursing, residential, respite, palliative and day care. We care for male and female service users.

There are three lounges and a dining room where residents can get together for meals, regular activities and entertainment. All rooms are single, some with en-suite facilities and service users are encouraged to bring along personal possessions to their individual areas.

Our gardens are private and get plenty of sunshine, with patios, lawns and a greenhouse for those with green fingers. All residents have their own personal care plan, with staff on hand day and night for any problems. Medication, nutritional needs and other personal services are tailored for every individual.

Walton House is a home from home where every effort is made to give residents the care they need whilst allowing them a comfortable and stimulating environment.&
