Oct 26 2017 This care home has friendly caring staff who look after the client well. They have gone above and beyond to care for my mother. The food is of a good quality made fresh. Whenever I have visited they have put me at ease. They take my mother out to the shops so she still has some independence of her own. I would recommend this carehome.

Jan 18 2017 Following a fall at home I damaged my knee, which left me unable to stand or walk. A stay at Ashbourne House was arranged until I was mobile again. I was very disappointed with the level of care I received, if I rang the buzzer during the night, no one would answer, a trip to the bathroom would mean I'd be left alone for long periods of time and help getting dressed would sometimes mean I'd be left alone naked for a considerable length of time while someone went for clothes for me. Some staff were very nice, but a couple weren't and the couple that weren't very nice, made for a very unpleasant experience! I left after two weeks feeling shaken and very scared.
