The Chestnuts Retirement Home, 29 Station Road, Ruskington, Sleaford, NG34 9DE
The Chestnuts Retirement Home is located in the centre of the village of Ruskington and provides residential care, without nursing, for a maximum of 14 older people.
All rooms are of single occupancy, and can be furnished with your own personal items if you wish.
It is never easy to define the essential ethos of a home for the retired, that quality of caring which makes it different from other homes. Yet if there is one feature at The Chestnuts, which has impressed newcomers in recent years, it is the warm and friendly family atmosphere. This is party due to our comparatively small size, but above all it is due to the sensitive and concerned attitude of our staff.
As The Chestnuts is a small family run business, everbody feels like they belong in the home.
All rooms are fitted with a nurse call system and dedicated trained staff are on duty 24 hours a day.
We have a visiting hairdresser, chiropodist and optician and& a good relationship with the local doctors surgery and the district nursing team.
Our meals are freshly prepared daily, using locally sourced suppliers.
Friends and relatives are free to visit at any time and staff are always on hand to answer any queries or concerns.
Our aim is to provide the best possible standard of care. Supporting those individuals who need personal care, whilst maintaing as much of their independence as is reasonably possible.
Please feel free to call into the home unannounced if you wish to have a look around or telephone us for a chat.
