Oct 25 2017 Jasmine court is a lovely place and im so thankful to all the staff for looking after my mum showed her so much respect and dignity until her dying day i would recommend jasmine court to anyone.

Jan 5 2016 I am posting this message for family members who are looking to place their loved one in a care home....well avoid this one at all costs. My dad was placed in here by Leicester Royal Infirmary in Jan 2015 after a short stay in the hospital (he has Parkinsons's with Lewy Body Dementia) after a bad chest infection, my mother was in hospital at the same time and died of phuemonia at the same time. My dad was a complete mess in Jasmine Court, he was drugged up, and in a bad way, so much so that I resigned from my job in Lincolnshire and moved back to my parents home in Rothley. It took me 3 weeks to get my dad out of this place and take him back to his home where I have looked after him for the past year as his sole carer. It took me 4 weeks to sort him out with medication, stabilise him and get him back on track after the Jasmine Court episode....never, never, never again. My dad's condition has got worse the last year, but that has been down just to progression of his illness. I have got his medication down to a level that he has not been drugged up or looks like a zombie....unlike what I was faced with everyday I went to see him at Jasmine Court. I am now looking at respite care for myself and placing my dad in a good home with nursing care for a couple of weeks now that he does not have the fear that he felt whilst at Jasmine Court. As you can guess I am extremely wary of care homes since this episode and have found out that you only get what you pay for.....abit like in life really, don't expect Rolls Royce care if you are only prepared to pay for a mini......!!! Throughout that time she was cared for with dignity and love especially during her final days. The family were contacted regularly when mum was not too well. All in all, a caring professional nursing home which I would not hesitate to recommend.
