May 15 2017 When we had to make the decision to place my mother-in-law in a care home as her needs now included nursing and night care it was the hardest decision to make as we had promised her she could stay at home. Sadly her Dementia and her physical health had deteriorated so much that heartbreakingly we had to agree with the professionals, and we began the search for a suitable home nursing. Longacre turned out to be just this, a home with kind and caring staff and good quality nursing care. Mum lived to be nearly 95 and this was only possible and partly due to the excellent care and attention given by the Longacre staff from March 2015 to February 2017. I would recommend this home.

In that time she has been well looked after by all the staff working there ... With love , respect and dignity and made to feel part of the family ... If she wasn't she wouldn't be staying here. Her call bell is answered when she rings, she is clean and well fed. There are activities available for the residents and also days out which all residents are able to attend if they wish. If my mother has been unwell I am informed and also whether the doctor is needed and what the prognosis is. If none of thie above were the case she would not be staying here. I am confused as to previous reviews which absolutely do not match my mothers experience with Longacre nursing home ... If it were... my mother would not stay here as I would not allow it! Strange! Highly recommended Longacre to anyone who needs to place a parent into specialist care.

Oct 21 2015 In my opinion this is one of the best nursing homes in worthing I had checked 5/6 before choosing this one for 2 family members. If 1 of my family members hadn't been placed there they would of surely not lived on for 4 years with a good quality of life. Myself and my family cannot praise the staff enough for there love care and attention they not only showed my family member but all members of our family. The care is second to none! All the staff are loving,friendly and reliable. We could not fault them at all. Thank you for everything!! X
